DryShips (DRYS) Reports Results From 2011 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders

DryShips Inc. (NASDAQ: DRYS) today announced the results of its 2011 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders.

The following proposals were approved and adopted at the Meeting:

• The election of Messrs. George Economou, Harry Kerames and Vassilis Karamitsanis as Class A Directors of the Company to serve until the 2014 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders.

• The appointment of Ernst & Young (Hellas) Certified Auditors Accountants S.A., as the Company's independent auditors for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2011.
