Jefferies initiates coverage on Alpha Natural Resources (NYSE: ANR) with a Buy. PT $45.00.
The firm said, "We believe a scenario that is far too bearish with regard to coal demand and coal prices is fully discounted in ANR's valuation." The firm said as skepticism decline, shares will rise over the next year. They also said the disappointment with the Massey takeover is adequately discounted in the stock.
