Goldman Sachs reiterated its Conviction Buy List rating on Edwards Lifesciences (NYSE: EW), saying over the next six months there are several catalysts that could drive the shares higher.
Those catalysts, according to the firm include: "(1) US approval and launch of the SAPIEN transcatheter aortic valve (TAVI) in the nonsurgical population (PARTNER B); (2) cost effectiveness and quality of life data in the PARTNER A (surgical) group; (3) 3Q2011 results; and (4) the company’s annual analyst meeting in which management will provide 2012 guidance (December 9)."
The firm maintained their $91 price target, saying they see the current levels as an attractive entry point.
