Roundup of after-hours movement:
- Collective Brands (NYSE: PSS) - up 34% - Released better-than-expected Q2 results but traders mostly shrug as company also announced it will explore strategic alternatives.
- Guess? (NYSE: GES) - down 4.5% - Reported Q2 adj-EPS of 84 cents on sales of $677.2 million. Also guided Q3 and FY11.
- Applied Materials (Nasdaq: AMAT) - down 4.8 - Issued quarterly results but the guidance was the real kicker: sees Q4 EPS 16-24 cents, vs. the consensus of 33 cents.
