WD-40 (WDFC) CEO Sees 'Record Year on Sales,' Growth in Europe, Asia

Shares of WD-40 (Nasdaq: WDFC) are nearing session highs following an appearance by President and CEO Garry Ridge on CNBC's Street Signs.

The exec told CNBC viewers he expects sales to rise about 35 percent moving forward, leading to a "record year on sales." Ridge also hinted at new products and pointed to accelerating sales in both Europe and Asia.

The stock is now up about 4 cents to $40.43.
