BWS Financial maintains a 'Buy' on NETGEAR (NASDAQ: NTGR).
BWS analyst says, "NTGR has seen revenue growth of 30$ over the prior year and with the expectation for the growth to continue in 2011. In recent retail checks, it was revealed to us that retailers in the United States have been making more of a shift away from Cisco Systems (Nasdaq: CSCO)(No Rating) since CSCO’s decision to reduce market presence in the consumer space. The shift has resulted with some retailers increasing the amount of the products from other vendors, in addition to reducing the general shelf space designated for home networking. In our observation, we were seeing more positive comments about NTGR products, which we believe is a byproduct of CSCO moving out of the market. NTGR is gaining market share at a rapid pace setting up what could be a very profitable fourth quarter."
