Goldman Sachs upgraded IBM (NYSE: IBM) from Neutral to Buy and raises its price target to $195 (up from $170).
The firm said IBM's recurring profit stream, continued success in growth markets, and diversified business mix provide important counter-cyclical attributes to its earnings profile.
"We believe this historical counter-cyclicality will attract incremental investor interest in coming months and allow IBM to enjoy continued outperformance."
