Torchmark Corp. (NYSE: TMK) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.12 per share, or $0.48 annualized. This is a 65.5% increase from the prior dividend of $0.0725.

The dividend will be payable on November 1, 2011, to stockholders of record on October 7, 2011, with an ex-dividend date of October 5, 2011.

The annual yield on the dividend is 1.3 percent.
