Deutsche Bank initiates coverage on Vanguard Health Systems (NYSE: VHS) with a Buy. PT $21.50.

Deutsche analyst says, "On the back of a flurry of M&A and the potential for one more large transaction (Valley) to close before YE, we believe VHS has the potential to produce meaningful growth upside relative to its peers, albeit with slightly higher risk. Our published estimates exclude Valley and are conservative with regard to accretion from recent M&A, yet we believe a reasonable case shows VHS could be trading closer to 5.5x 2012 EV/EBITDA after giving credit to some of these upside growth risks. Hence, we like the risk/reward profile and initiate with a Buy rating."
