Thermo Fisher Scientific (TMO) Tops Q2 EPS by 1c; Nudges Up FY11 Outlook

Thermo Fisher Scientific (NYSE: TMO) reported Q2 EPS of $0.99, $0.01 better than the analyst estimate of $0.98. Revenue for the quarter came in at $2.9 billion versus the consensus estimate of $2.84 billion.

Thermo Fisher Scientific sees FY2011 EPS of $4.08-$4.18, versus prior guidance of $4.05-$4.15 and the consensus of $4.13. Thermo Fisher Scientific sees FY2011 revenue of $11.60-$11.70 billion, versus prior guidance of $11.52-$11.62 billion and the consensus of $11.59 billion.
