Packaging Corp. of America (PKG) Tops Q2 EPS by 4c; Guides Q3 Below the Street

Packaging Corp. of America (NYSE: PKG) reported Q2 EPS of $0.39, ex-items, $0.04 better than the analyst estimate of $0.35. Revenue for the quarter came in at $665.5 million versus the consensus estimate of $632.21 million.

Sees Q3 EPS of about 43 cents, which compares to the Street estimate of 50 cents.
