Morning Movers 07/15: (HK) (GOOG) (COG) (CLX) Higher; (FLIR) (PPHM) (DCTH) (QLIK) Lower

Petrohawk Energy Corp. (NYSE: HK) 62.9% HIGHER; BHP Billiton (NYSE: BHP) announced a deal Thursday evening to acquire for $12.1 billion in cash, or $38.75 per share.

Google, Inc. (NASDAQ: GOOG) 12.2% HIGHER; reported Q2 EPS of $8.74, $0.88 better than the analyst estimate of $7.86. Revenue for the quarter came in at $6.92 billion versus the consensus estimate of $6.54 billion.

FLIR Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: FLIR) 10.9% LOWER; today announced preliminary revenue and earnings per share results for the second quarter of fiscal year 2011. FLIR expects to post revenues of approximately $390 million and earnings per share of approximately $0.18 for the three months ended June 30, 2011. Non-GAAP EPS is expected to be $0.35. Management is evaluating its previously announced guidance for the full year 2011 and will provide updated guidance on its second quarter earnings call on Friday July 22, 2011. The stock was also downgraded at Morgan Keegan.

Peregrine Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ: PPHM) 10.7% LOWER; reported Q2 loss of ($0.15), in-line with the analyst estimate of ($0.15). Revenue for the quarter came in at $2.83 million versus the consensus estimate of $2.28 million.

Delcath (Nasdaq: DCTH) 10.7% LOWER; announced an offering of 5 million shares of its common stock to Jefferies.

Qlik Technologies (NASDAQ: QLIK) 10.6% LOWER; Jefferies downgraded the stock from Buy to Hold and cut its price target from $39 to $34.

Emerson Radio Corp. (NYSE: MSN) 9% LOWER; reported Q4 EPS of $0.10, versus $0.13 reported last year. Revenue for the quarter came in at $41.1 million, versus $51.5 million reported last year.

Cabot Oil & Gas (NYSE: COG) 8.5% HIGHER; likely trading higher on the back of the deal for Petrohawk.

Goodrich Petroleum (NYSE: GDP) 7.5% HIGHER; see Cabot.

SM Energy (NYSE: SM) 7.3% HIGHER; trading higher on Petrohawk deal. Also was upgraded at Wells Fargo this morning.

Clorox (NYSE: CLX) 7.2% HIGHER; In an amended 13D SEC filing this morning, activist investor Carl Icahn disclosed making a $76.50 per share offer for Clorox. Click here to see the full report.
