Richard Lutton Looks to Leaves Apple (AAPL) as Legal Matters Continue to Build-Reuters

Reuters announced that Richard Lutton Junior, manager if Apple's (Nasdaq: AAPL) patent portfolio, is leaving the company.
No press release has yet been released by the company to make it official, but the website notes that BJ Watrous's LinkedIn (Nasdaq: LNKD) web page lists him as Apple's chief IP counsel. Mr. Watrous was formerly deputy general counsel with Hewlett Packard (NYSE: HPQ).
It is unsure why Mr. Lutton would leave the company at a time when the company it is under multiple legal battles with numerous companies.
