Goldman Sachs made positive comments on First Solar (NASDAQ: FSLR) today, reiterating their Conviction Buy List rating and $175 6-month price target saying shares provided the most favorable and visible risk/reward in the sector.
The firm cited, "(1) cost reductions – which continue on plan; (2) a large and growing project pipeline – providing a multi-year buffer against lower ASPs and margins in its thirdparty business; (3) a strong balance sheet and returns; and (4) diversifying global demand."
While saying Buy First Solar, Goldman said sell SunPower (Nasdaq: SPWRA).
