WMS Industries, Inc. (NYSE: WMS), is lower today following comments from Janney.
Janney believes that WMS is likely to lose market share on replacements as it deals with product delays. Sales of WMS xD have slowed materially, Janney adds.
Bally Tech (NYSE: BYI) and International Game Tech (NYSE: IGT) are likely in a better position, with replacement activity likely to slow with a "modest" increase in FY12, according to Janney. WMS is expected to sell about 50,000 units in 2011.
Finally, Janney believes job cuts may be in the future for WMS in order to save costs.
Shares fell over 8 percent to a new 52-week low of $27.42 today.
