Ligand Pharmaceuticals Incorporated (Nasdaq: LGND) and The Medicines Company (Nasdaq: MDCO) have entered into a licensing agreement under which Ligand has licensed exclusive worldwide rights to The Medicines Company for Ligand’s Captisol-enabled intravenous formulation of clopidogrel.
