Uranium stocks are getting pummeled Tuesday following news Germany is looking to cease all reliance on nuclear power by 2022.
Investors may be fearful following the announcement -- which stems from the March 11th earthquake in Japan which caused a meltdown at Fukushima -- other countries may try to make the same moves, leaving uranium miners and refiners high-and-dry as demand wanes.

Feeling some pressure this afternoon are:
- Uranium Resources, Inc. (Nasdaq: URRE), down 7.2 percent;
- Uranerz Energy Corp. (AMEX: URZ), down 8.2 percent;
- Denison Mines Corp. (AMEX: DNN), down 2.5 percent;
- Ur Energy (AMEX: URG), down 10 percent;
- Uranium Energy Corp. (AMEX: UEC), down 7.9 percent; and
- Crosshair Exploration & Mining (AMEX: CXZ), down 7.5 percent.
