Cost Plus Inc /California (NASDAQ: CPWM) reported Q1 EPS of ($0.15), $0.10 better than the analyst estimate of ($0.25). Revenue for the quarter came in at $199.7 million versus the consensus estimate of $198.1 million.
Same store sales increased 5.5%.
Sees Q2 2011 loss of ($0.37) - ($0.44), versus the consensus of ($0.22). Sees Q211 revenue of $195-$199 million, versus the consensus of $201.4 million.
Increases FY2011 EPS from $0.45 - $0.55 to $0.54-$0.63, which may not compare to the consensus of $0.55.
