Shares of Dick's Sporting Goods (NYSE: DKS) are ticking higher in early-afternoon trade following an intraday upgrade from an analyst at Needham & Company.

The firm lifted its investment rating on the sporting-goods retailer from Hold to Buy, and also set a $45 price target.

Dick's shares are down 1.7 percent Tuesday following Q1 results from the company this morning.

With the stock last trading around $39.94, Needham's new price target suggests potential upside of about 13 percent.
