Nevada Gaming Board Says Vegas Strip Win Rose 12.9% in March (LVS) (MGM) (WYNN)

Stocks in the Casino & Gaming sector are mixed Tuesday morning despite strong Las Vegas gaming win results for the month of March. The State of Nevada Gaming Control Board said win on the strip rose a sharp 12.89 percent to $527.30 million.
The entire state of Nevada saw gaming win rise 5.13 percent from $911.98 million to $958.73 million. On a fiscal year-to-date basis (from July 1st, 2010 to the end of March), gaming win rose 0.67 percent to $7.96 billion.
Also tracked by the Gaming Board, percentage fee collections for the month of April fell 0.35 percent to $79.63 million.
Las Vegas Sands (NYSE: LVS) shares are down 0.1 percent Tuesday morning, shares of MGM (NYSE: MGM) are up 0.5 percent, and Wynn Resort (Nasdaq: WYNN) shares are up 1.6 percent.
