Dahlman Rose upgraded Calpine Corporation (NYSE: CPN) from Hold to Buy. PT $20.
Dahlman analyst says, "We are growing constructive on the broader US wholesale power markets, but we see targeted value only in certain regions where supply-driven power price upside outweighs modest downside gas price risk. Calpine and NRG Energy (NYSE: NRG) offer investors compelling value through selected exposure to the California and Texas markets."
