Provident Financial Services (NYSE: PFS) reported Q1 EPS of $0.23, $0.01 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.24.
The Company's Board of Directors declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.12 per common share, an increase of 9.1% from the prior quarter's cash dividend of $0.11 per share. The dividend is payable on May 31, 2011, to stockholders of record as of the close of business on May 16, 2011.
Yield on the new dividend is 3.3 percent.
