Ticonderoga maintains a 'Sell' on Masco (NYSE: MAS), PT $10.75.

Ticonderoga analyst says, "Excluding $17M in Financial Service gains and $32M in restructuring charges, MAS reported a Q1 EPS loss of $0.05. On a reported basis, the loss widens to $0.13. With a customarily optimistic management admittedly tempering expectations for 2011, a quarterly loss more than two times our forecasted loss of $0.02 and an Operating Margin 25% below our forecast, we remain comfortable with our Sell rating. We continue to believe the equity’s valuation should be several multiple points lower as risk to estimates remains to the downside."

"Key items to focus on for today's call include: 1) price/commodity relationships; 2) key retailer sales trends; 3) impact from negative product mix; 4) Installation profitability."
