Alliance Holdings GP, L.P. (NASDAQ: AHGP) reported Q1 EPS of $0.86, $0.07 better than the analyst estimate of $0.79. Revenue for the quarter came in at $423.17 million versus the consensus estimate of $439.87 million.
Alliance also declared a quarterly cash distribution for the quarter ended March 31, 2011 of $0.555 per unit, $2.22 annualized. The distribution is a 5.2 percent increase from the current rate of $0.5275.
The distribution will be paid on May 20, 2011, to AHGP’s unitholders of record as of the close of trading on May 13, 2011, with an ex-distribution date of May 11, 2011.
Yield on the distribution is 4.4 percent.
