Barclays maintains an 'Equalweight' on Valero Energy (NYSE: VLO), PT $30.
Barclays analyst says, "We expect VLO to report 4Q10 EPS of $0.30, compared to consensus expectations of $0.38 per share. We expect refining to report a profit of $421 million, compared to $412 million in 4Q10 and a loss of $51 mm in 1Q10.. We expect realized refining margin to average $7.8/bl, compared to the 4Q10 level of $7.3/bl and 1Q10 level of $5.8/bl."
"We expect retail earnings to be $60 million, compared to $61 million in 4Q10 and $71 million in 1Q10. We expect ethanol earnings to be $49 million, compared to $70 million in 4Q10 and $57 million in 1Q10."
