S&P Indices Changes: CMG for NOVL in S&P 500, UTIW for CMG, CRR for BEC, HWKN for CRR

S&P MidCap 400 constituent Chipotle Mexican Grill Inc. (NYSE: CMG) will replace Novell Inc. (NASDAQ: NOVL) in the S&P 500 index, and UTi Worldwide Inc. (NASDAQ: UTIW) will replace Chipotle Mexican Grill in the S&P MidCap 400 index after the close of trading on a date to be announced. Novell is being acquired by a group of private equity firms in a transaction expected to be completed soon, pending final conditions.

S&P SmallCap 600 constituent CARBO Ceramics Inc. (NYSE: CRR) will replace Beckman Coulter Inc. (NYSE: BEC) in the S&P MidCap 400 index, and Hawkins Inc. (NASDAQ: HWKN) will replace Carbo Ceramics in the S&P SmallCap 600 index after the close of trading on Wednesday, April 27. Beckman Coulter is being acquired by S&P 500 constituent Danaher Corp. (NYSE: DHR) in a deal expected to be completed soon pending final conditions.
