Nomura Securities maintains a 'Neutral' on Omnicom Group (NYSE: OMC)
Nomura analyst, Michael Nathanson, said, "Review of 1Q results; reported revenue growth of 7.9% and adjusted EBIT growth of 8.3% with adjusted EPS of $0.59 – in line with our estimates. These in-line results were driven primarily by lower below-the-line costs that offset top-line softness. Although within mgmt’s expectations, we were disappointed by OMC’s U.S. organic growth of 4.1% for the quarter. We continue to forecast U.S. organic growth of 7.3% in the second quarter."
"Maintain our rating on OMC as we are not excited about the company’s investment case relative to our Buy rated pure-play media names."
