FBR Capital reiterates an 'Outperform' on TD Ameritrade (NASDAQ: AMTD), PT $25.
FBR analyst says, "We are reiterating our rating and maintaining our price target following the release of better-than-expected F2Q11 results this morning. The fundamental outlook for TD Ameritrade continues to strengthen after another solid quarter that exhibited double-digit organic growth, steady trading activity, modest net interest margin (NIM) expansion, and increased capital flexibility. Despite the recent run in the shares, we see further upside in AMTD from greater client engagement, the eventual rising of short-term interest rates, and more aggressive share buybacks."
"We are maintaining our FY11 and FY12 EPS estimates of $1.12 and $1.45, respectively, with stronger net interest income expectations offsetting higher compensation expenses."
