Harris Corporation (HRS) Awarded Two-Year, $15 Million Contract From U.S. Air Force

Harris Corporation (NYSE: HRS) has been awarded a two-year, $15 million Warhead Replacement Tactical Telemetry Modules (WRTTM) order for telemetry modules supporting the U.S. Air Force Advanced Medium-Range Air-to-Air Missile. Under the follow-on delivery order, Harris will deliver 135 WRTTMs to the Air Logistics Center at Warner Robins Air Force Base in Georgia. The follow-on contract brings the overall value of the program for Harris to more than $170 million since 1991.
The AIM-120 Advanced Medium-Range Air-to-Air Missile (AMRAAM) is designed to take maximum advantage of the highly accurate, long-range target detection capabilities offered by the advanced radar systems of modern-day warplanes.
