This report is an intraday check of some of the more notable stocks that have hit a 52-week high or low so far today.

52-Week High:
  • Cubist Pharmaceuticals Inc. (Nasdaq: CBST) high of $29.61. After the market closed yesterday, Cubist reported the settlement of CUBICIN litigation with Teva Pharma (Nasdaq: TEVA). Shares up over 17 percent to the new high on the news.

  • Abercrombie & Fitch Co. (NYSE: ANF) high of $66.17. Investors and analysts bullish on the stock following Abercrombie & Fitch's Analyst Day. Reportedly, Abercrombie sees FY12 EPS of $4.75, which is significantly higher than EPS of $2.91 that the Street is currently looking for. A call by Streetinsider to Abercrombie's investor relations department to confirm the outlook has not been returned as of this posting.

  • Questcor Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Nasdaq: QCOR) high of $18.50. Questcor reported preliminary first quarter revenues of $48.6 million, surpassing the consensus calling for revs of $33.60 million. Click here for other preliminary metrics from the release. Questcor up nearly 24 percent to the new high today.

  • VirnetX Holding Corp (AMEX: VHC) high of $25.25. VirnetX reports that it was issued U.S. patent o. 7,921,211, Agile Network Protocol for Secure Communications Using Secure Domain Names, by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Additionally, VirnetX filed papers to include the patent in recent litigation. VirnetX also added that Apple's (Nasdaq: AAPL) iPad 2 infringes its patents, and accuses the following Apple products of patent infringement: iPhone, iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPod Touch, iPad, and iPad 2.
52-Week Low:
  • Duoyuan Global Water Inc. (NYSE: DGW) low of $2.80. Duoyuan's Chief Financial Officer Stephen Park is leaving the Company. The news comes following a call by Muddy Waters on Monday, which started coverage on Duoyan at Strong Sell, claiming that the Company forged its PRC audit report. The stock is down over 43 percent since late last week.

  • SinoHub, Inc. (AMEX: SIHI) low of $1.33. Another momentum China stock, SinoHub is seeing strong selling below the previous $1.70 support level. Volume today of nearly 1.4 million shares is nearly 400 percent above the trailing three-month daily average of 282 thousand shares.

  • GenVec, Inc. (Nasdaq: GNVC) low of $0.3552. GenVec announced a ten-for-one reverse split a little earlier, sending the shares spiraling to a new 52-week low. GenVec said that total outstanding common following the consolidation will drop from 129.1 million to just 12.9 million.
