Research In Motion (RIMM) Marketing Chief Leaves Ahead of PlayBook Launch
Shares of Research In Motion Ltd. (Nasdaq: RIMM) fell late in the session today following reports from the Wall Street Journal that the company's chief marketing officer Keith Pardy is leaving for personal reasons.
Mr. Pardy plans to help the company over a six-month transition period.
The departure comes just weeks ahead of the launch of the company's PlayBook tablet product.
While the initial move in the stock is lower, some investors might actually welcome the news.
Shares of RIM are down 2.9%.
