Nasdaq OMX (NDAQ) Moves Off Lows On Deal Speculation

Nasdaq OMX Group Inc. (Nasdaq: NDAQ) ticks off the lows of the day on headlines from Fox Business Network that CME Group (NYSE: CME) could be looking to enter discussions with the company.
In a statement this morning CME Group said "we will continue to monitor ongoing developments in the global exchange sector and the implications of those developments on our long-term growth strategy."
The statement followed rumors the company could be interested in a hostile bid for NYSE (NYSE: NYX), which confirmed their deal with Deutsche Boerse.
Shares of NYX are down 4% to $28.45 currently, but off the session lows.
