Green Mountain Coffee (GMCR) Slightly Higher Ahead of Much Anticipated, Much Delayed Earnings

Shares of Green Mountain Coffee (Nasdaq: GMCR), the maker of single-serve coffee brewers and cups, are slightly higher ahead of its much-anticipated, much-delayed fourth quarter earnings report.

Wall Street is looking for the company to earn $0.20 per share on sales of $359.2 million.

In November, the company announced the restatement of financial results, which had a negative $0.04 - $0.05 per share impact on earnings.

In addition to the restatement, the company is continuing a internal investigation on revenue recognition practices after an SEC inquiry.

After falling on the disclosure of the SEC probe, Green Mountain Coffee has regain most of those loses and currently sits within $1 of a 52-week high.

Shares of Green Mountain last traded at $37.68, up 1 percent.
