Qualcomm (QCOM) Jumps On Reports It Will Get the Nod for NextGen iPhone and iPad; Cirrus Logic (CRUS) Falls

According to AppleInsider, citing a report from the Far East, Apple (Nasdaq: AAPL) will use chips form Qualcomm (Nasdaq: QCOM) in its fifth-generation iPhone and second-generation iPad.
QUALCOMM (Nasdaq: QCOM) is up 2 percent.
The report cited by AppleInsider also claims knowledge of other suppliers. Those included CPU from Samsung, Wi-Fi chip from Marvell (Nasdaq: MRVL), Flash memory from Intel (Nasdaq: INTC), touch screen controller by Broadcom (Nasdaq: brcm), audio chip from Wolfson, video display interface chip from National Semiconductor/Infineon (NYSE: NSM), Bluetooth from CSR and power management from TI (NYSE: TXN).
This article also appears to be contributing to the weakens in Cirrus Logic Inc. (Nasdaq: CRUS) today, which is down 13 percent.
