iSuppli Estimates Apple's (AAPL) iPad Parts Cost Between $219 - $335; Room for a Price Drop (TXN, BRCM, LPL)

According to a report from iSuppli, components that make up Apple's (NASDAQ: AAPL) new iPad cost between $219 - $335, depending on the model selected.

This initial data would allow Apple to lower the price in the future if it so chooses.

iSuppli believes that some of the likely suppliers include:

• Broadcom (NASDAQ: BRCM);
  
  
• Texas Instruments (NYSE: TXN);
  
  
• LG Display (NYSE: LPL); and
  
  
• Samsung Electronics.

This analysis comes without an actual iPad in hand.

"From a straight math standpoint, there's definitely headroom there for a price cut," said iSuppli analyst Francis Sideco. Apple had no comment.
