Ag stocks will start today's trading session in positive territory as we have a number of analysts getting bullish within the group.

First, an analyst at Goldman Sachs upgraded shares of Potash (NYSE: POT) from Neutral to Buy and also set a $140 price target. The firm believes that the potash market is regaining momentum.

About a half hour before the opening bell, Potash shares are up 1.7% to around $119. Goldman's new price target represents potential upside of about 17%.

Also on Potash, a UBS analyst, while maintaining a Neutral rating on the stock, lifted his price target from $95 to $120.

The same UBS analyst upgraded shares of Agrium (NYSE: AGU) from Neutral to Buy this morning, also raising his target on that stock from $50 to $72.
