In light of takeover speculation today, Riverbed Technology (Nasdaq: RVBD) CEO told Reuters the company is not interested in being acquired.
"We're on everyone's target list," Kennelly told Reuters in an interview on Wednesday. "But we believe that we're so attractive that we have a brilliant future as a stand-alone company. We're in no hurry to be absorbed."
Earlier today rumors surfaced that Juniper Networks (Nasdaq: JNPR) could be interested in a deal with Riverbed. IBM (NSYE: IBM) and HP (NYSE: HPQ) are other possible suitors for Riverbed.
