No-contract wireless providers MetroPCS (NYSE: PCS) and Leap Wireless (Nasdaq: LEAP) are seeing some weakness today after Wal-Mart (NYSE: WMT) announced it will launch Straight Talk, a new solution in no-contract cellular, exclusively at more than 3,200 Walmart stores nationwide starting October 18, 2009.
Shares of PCS are down 1.6% today and LEAP is down 3.2%.
