Sears Holdings (SHLD) Slammed After Reporting Q2 Loss

Shares of Sears Holdings Corporation (Nasdaq: SHLD) are down over 11% in pre-open action today after reporting a Q2 loss of $0.79, or $0.17 ex-items, versus the consensus of a $0.35 profit. Total revenues decreased $1.2 billion to $10.6 billion versus the consensus of $10.73 billion.

Sears Holdings said domestic comparable store sales declined 8.6% in the aggregate, with Sears Domestic comparable store sales declining 12.5% and Kmart comparable store sales declining 3.9% for the quarter.
