Casino and Gaming stocks are continuing higher today, still feeling upside momentum from MGM MIRAGE's (NYSE: MGM) better-than-expected Q2 results yesterday. Shares of MGM rose 3% yesterday and are up another 8.8% to $8.11 today. Elsewhere in the group, Las Vegas Sands (NYSE: LVS) is up 7% to $10.77 and Wynn Resorts (Nasdaq: WYNN) is up 5.6% to $56.44.

Also affecting the sector today:
  • an analyst at Barclays Capital boosted the firm's price target on MGM MIRAGE from $9 to $10. Based on today's price action, the Barclays target represents possible upside of about 23%.
  • taking a call on Wynn during last night's "Lightning Round" segment of Mad Money, Jim Cramer maintained his bullish stance on the stock, saying he still believes it should be at $70. Cramer initially made the call on July 23 when the stock was around $44, bagging his loyal viewers a 27% return since then. With the call, Cramer also gave a "Don't Buy" on both Las Vegas Sands and MGM MIRAGE.
