Semiconductor Stocks (AMD, STM, MU, SMH, BRCM, MRVL) Jumping On Intel's (INTC) Strong Results

Last night, Intel (Nasdaq: INTC) reported a blowout quarter that is causing many of the semiconductor stocks to rise this morning. Intel reported Q2 non-GAAP EPS of $0.18, 10 cents better than what analysts had been expecting. Gross margin, which is probably the most watched metric for semiconductor companies, came in at 50.8%, topping Intel's previously-issued forecast.
Also, Intel expects Q3 to report revenue in the range of $8.1-$8.9 billion, which compares to the Street estimate of $7.8 billion.
Many semiconductor stocks are popping on Intel's positive news. For example, AMD is up 9%, while STMicroelectronics is up 8.2% Below are some other stocks and ETFs moving.
Also, Intel expects Q3 to report revenue in the range of $8.1-$8.9 billion, which compares to the Street estimate of $7.8 billion.
