Yum! Brands (YUM) Tumbles 4% as Q2 Earnings Look Mixed

Yum! Brands (NYSE: YUM) shares have fallen more than 4% in the after-hours session following mixed Q2 results.

The parent company of KFC, Taco Bell, Pizza Hut and A&W saw its ">adjusted-EPS for Q2 rise 10% to $0.50, while its sales fell 7% from $2.32 billion in the same quarter last year to $2.15 billion in this most recent quarter. Yum! also reported a 1% drop in same store sales within its U.S. division.

Yum! maintained its FY09 EPS guidance of $2.10, representing 10% growth, ex-items. The Street is currently expecting FY09 EPS of $2.12.
