Goldman Sachs made a sector-wide call on Tech stocks this morning, raising it's price targets on numerous on-line outlets, including Google (Nasdaq: GOOG), Baidu (Nasdaq: BIDU), Amazon (Nasdaq: AMZN), eBay (Nasdaq: EBAY) and Yahoo! (Nasdaq: YHOO).

Buy-rated:
  • Google - target moved from $414 to $486, suggesting potential appreciation of 13.5% from current levels.
  • Amazon.com - price target lifted from $92 to $103, representing possible upside of 21%.
  • Baidu.com - PT goes from $273 to $300, suggesting upside of about 5%.
  • Vistaprint (Nasdaq: VPRT) - PT moves from $39 to $45, suggesting possible price appreciation of 15%.
Neutral-rated:
  • eBay - target raised from $16 to $18, which suggests relatively no movement from current levels.
  • Expedia (Nasdaq: EXPE) - PT goes from $10.80 to $17.90, indicating upside of about 10%.
  • GSI Commerce (Nasdaq: GSIC) - PT moved from $15 to $17, representing a possible jump of 19% from current levels.
  • priceline.com (Nasdaq: PCLN) - PT from $120 to $130, suggesting price appreciation of 13%.
  • Yahoo! (Nasdaq: YHOO) - PT from $14 to $17, about 6% higher than the stock's current price.
Sell-rated:
  • WebMD (Nasdaq: WBMD) - target raised from $18 to $22, suggesting downside of more than 18% from current levels.
  • Orbitz Worldwide (NYSE: OWW) - target lifted from $1 to $1.50, indicating a possible slide of more than 36%.
Traders seem to be agreeing with Goldman's cautiously bullish view today, as the Nasdaq -- although still down for the session -- is outperforming both the Dow and S&P 500. Stocks have just set fresh intraday lows: Dow down 95 points, or 1.1%, Nasdaq down 18 points, or 1%, S&P 500 down 15 points, or 1.6%.
