Bon-Ton (BONT) Reports Q1 Loss of $2.47; Guides FY09 Comps

The Bon-Ton Stores, Inc. (NASDAQ: BONT) reports Q1 loss of $2.67, versus the analyst estimate of ($3.44). Revenue for the quarter was $644.5 million, versus $700.2 million reported in the same quarter last year.

Same store sales fell 8.6% during the quarter.

Sees Fy09 same store sales down 6.5-9%.
