Stifel Nicolaus downgrades Host Hotels & Resorts (NYSE: HST) and Marriott International (NYSE: MAR) from Buy to Hold.

The two downgrades follow earnings out of Marriott yesterday morning and Host Hotels last night after the close.

Shares of Marriott jumped more than 12% yesterday and are flat today. Meanwhile, Host Hotels, which also priced 66 million shares at $6.60 this morning, is up 8% today and up more than 25% in the last 2 days of trading.
