Dover (DOV) Misses Q1 EPS View By 2c; Guides Down

Dover (NYSE: DOV) reports Q1 EPS of $0.45 ex-items, 2 cents below the analyst estimate of $0.47. Revenue for the quarter was $1.4 billion, versus the consensus of $1.53 billion.

Dover sees FY09 EPS $2.00 to $2.30 versus consensus of $2.51.

Dover is trading down 4% in pre-market trading.
