According to reports from FT.com, Yahoo!'s (Nasdaq: YHOO) new board of directors have authorized fresh talks with Time Warner's (NYSE: TWX) AOL unit about a possible business combination.
The new Yahoo! board includes Carl Icahn and two allies former Viacom (NYSE: VIA.B) boss Frank Biondi and former Nextel (NYSE: S) head Frank Chapple.
