Cramer Steps Up To The Plate And Buys More Freeport-McMoRan (FCX)

July 22, 2008 3:28 PM EDT
Today, on Stop Trading with Erin Burnett, Jim Cramer said he just picked up some Freeport-McMoRan (NYSE: FCX). Jimmy said Freeport-McMoRan always comes down during earnings, which makes this a great time to pick up some shares. He said, "you should be buying FCX hand over fist while everyone is selling."

Additionally, he noted the quarter was very good, fundamentals are solid and Cramer liked that Freeport-McMoRan increased the buyback and the dividend.

Freeport-McMoran Copper & Gold Inc., through its wholly owned subsidiary, Phelps Dodge, and its majority-owned subsidiary, PT Freeport Indonesia, is a copper, gold and molybdenum mining company.
