SanDisk (SNDK) Higher on Hynix Production Cuts

Shares of SanDisk (Nasdaq: SNDK) are up over 10% today on talk of production issues at major NAND competitor Hynix Semiconductor . Piper Jaffray analysts Amit Kapur told Bloomberg, Hynix's production delays may lead to higher prices for SanDisk.

Earlier, the DigiTimes reported that Hynix has decided to cut production of NAND flash amid an industry-wide over-supply and fast falling prices. Link To DigiTimes Article [LJ]
