Gold Breaks $900 Level; Many Gold Stocks Hitting New 52-Week Highs

Shares of gold & silver companies have gapped higher to open today's trading session on the back of gold prices that are hitting new all-time highs. The price of gold has surged over the $900 level today, marking an all-time high close to $910, but has since pulled back to around $904.

As a result of consistently rising commodity prices recently, shares of some of the largest gold & silver companies are hitting new 52-week highs today:

Barrick Gold (NYSE: ABX) up $1.40, or 2.7%, to $52.60
Goldcorp (NYSE: GG) up $1.88, or 4.9%, to $39.94
Yamana Gold (NYSE: AUY) up $1.27, or 7.7%, to $17.67
Kinross Gold (NYSE: KGC) up $1.02, or 4.4%, to $24.05
Randgold Resources (Nasdaq: GOLD) up $3.15, or 7.2%, to $46.85
AngloGold Ashanti (NYSE: AU) up $1.76, or 3.5%, to $51.35
Newmont Mining (NYSE: NEM) up $2.65, or 4.8%, to $57.37
Coeur d'Alene Mines (NYSE: CDE) up $0.20, or 4.1%, to $5.05
